Our project is aimed for young workers and recent graduates that are interested in EU Law and for those whom have a knowledge about -or want to gain experience in -EU Projects.
The lack of training and qualified staff in EU Law Field (The number of EU experts employed by State in Turkey is 96 while the number of deputy experts is 79. www.basbakanlik-dpb.gov.tr Issue No: b.02.1.DPB.0.14/16379) emerged the necessity to study for removing this sufficiency ( EEA CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE. DI CESE 16/2003 fin - C/20/R/013 (BOLDT - SÆTERSDAL). Therefore our projects main objective is to contribute the personal and vocational development of individuals that are open to learning and evolution within the scope of lifelong learning strategy. Besides, with the project, it is aimed for the beneficiaries to examine the mechanism of EU Law education processes in EU member countries along with the EU projects preparation and implementation processes, so that the experience acquired can be shared. By this means the insuffciency of well qualified staff that will be required if the full-proposal for EU projects submitted in Turkey are accepted (Turkish Law Institute has submitted a B Type full proposal in the framework of Leonardo Da Vinci Program phase II called "Online Distance Learning Module In European Union Basic Law Education" - TR/06/B/P/PP/178127 ). To ensure this, sending organization has dealed with one of the most appropriate companies, Albatros & Deltha Consulting S.L., established in Malaga,Spain which has a great knowledge in EU Law education with its experts teaching about EU Legislation. The organization has also participated in many EU projects as promoter and partners, therefore has also gained great experience in EU Projects.
The project started on 10/09/2006. After the call for beneficiaries via the web site of Turkish Law Institute, the choice for beneficiaries was made by tests and interviews that measured the foreign language and communication skills along with the knowledge on the aims and programs refered in the project. 7 chosen beneficiaries than were taken into the pedagogical ,cultural and linguistic preparation.
Afterwards the placement began on 27/12/2006. The placement lasted for nine weeks and ended on 28/02/2007, after the placement finished, the beneficiaries returned to their countries and prepared their final report. The genereal evolution by sending organization was made in accordance with those reports in the final month . The Project was ended on 10/07/2007 and those whom considered succesful were given an Internship Participation Letter by Turkish Law Institute and a participation certificate by Albatros & Deltha Consulting S.L..
